They explained how the fireplace worked and gave us an insight into the property and its renovation. the cottage was clean, tidy, and well-equipped, providing plenty of space for our group of six. Surrounded by peaceful farmers' fields, the location was perfect for a quiet getaway. the beds were comfortable, and there was ample wardrobe storage. We enjoyed a walk around the nearby lake before cozying up in front of the fire. The owners even left us a lovely welcome basket with Welsh loaf, wine, and chocolates. Cons: There was nothing I didn't like. 😊.

One of the highlights was the direct access to a field, which was ideal for our dog. the authentic country cottage decor added to the charm of the property, and every facility was well-maintained. Lovely little hamper and clean cottage. Just 10 minutes drive from the town and easy access to the hill. Parking is great and dogs are allowed! Would definitely stay again!

Oven and oven trays were dirty. the cold water tap upstairs is very loud and wakes everyone up in the morning.

The shower in the bath was not to our liking, although the one in the ensuite worked great. the property was fairly isolated, especially in winter, which may not suit those looking for easy access to local pubs and amenities.
